Homemade Chicken Salad| Chicken Salad Recipe Quick and Healthy Homemade Recipe

Today we will show you how to make healthy Chicken Salad at home.


This is actually a cool and refreshing salad to prepare and serve at home. 


This is very filling and decent at the same time it's also tasty with the mixture of tendered chicken vegetables, perfect wrapping with some herbs in it. 


This is great for lunch or even for suppers, also satisfies the taste buds with all the nutrition intact.


So let's know what all we need for this recipe as Ingredients.


1- First marinate the chicken breast with some salt


2- Pepper, ginger garlic, little olive oil vinegar, dried thyme, you can also use fresh thyme.


3- Red chilly flakes, let it marinate and coat on all sides. 


4- Spread out the marinate evenly. 


5-Let it rest for around 15-20 mins.


6-Start preparing the dressing for the salad.


7- In a large bowl, add the mayonaise.


8-Add the yogurt, I am using the thick yogurt.


9- The combination of both really gives a nice and creamy texture to the salad. 


10- Next add the lime juice Olive oil, mustard sauce, Worcestershire sauce fresh cilantro and mix well


11- Mix little salt as well, make a thick yet flowing consistenc.


Put it in the fridge to cool. In a bowl, mix in with the onions, lettuce and tomatoes. You can use other vegetables of our choice as well. 


Now heat olive oil in a non stick pan,place the chicken breast onto it. 


Let it cook on each side for 2-3 mins.


Flip it to the other side and check if it done. Pork a knife into the chicken to make sure it is cooked.


Once done and if it gets good golden brown color. 


Remove it onto a plate and let it cool down a bit.


Cut it into smears,let's move to the assemblig part. 


Mix the vegetables, chicken strips into the dressing and give it a good mix to coat as well. You can also check for salt over here.


Also add in the celery, walnuts, almonds over here add the croutons and mix well.


Add in the Parmesan cheese


Now the healthy and bautiful chicken salad is ready to plate.


Here we cooked the chicken first, but if you want you can use any left over chicken.


For veg, you can use bell beppers, mushrooms as well. Try this recipe and let me know your feedback.
